No wardrobe, Broke college girl...HELP!!!

Dr Heavenly Father,


      This is your daughter coming to you in her time of need. I have no wardrobe ahhhh.
Seriously I have nothing to wear, well I wouldn't say anything but I don't have a lot :(


Im just a seriously broke college student


Its sometimes agitating because i'll feel like wearing a certain outfit but i can't because I don't have all that I need to put my outfit together. I have so many ideas and so many different things i want to try i just do not have the supplies to do it and this SUCKS.


You know every girl wants to look nice and feel confident in what they wear but sometimes i cant feel that way because I don't even have the basic necessities of a wardrobe...lemme give you a list smh

• black ballet flats
• flats in general
• a pair of black jeans
• my favorite jeans are no longer functioning
• I need more tops
• I need more jeans
• I need more purses

thats just an overall run down...getting dressed in the morning is such a hassle, i want to pull all of my damned hair out because i finally got a nice outfit together but now i dont have any shoes to wear with it, I always have one but not the other smh...i need to run across a job ASAP because this is getting completely out of hand

Lets move on

So, here at my school, Alabama State University, we had a speaker come for black history month. She spoke about the bus boycott in Montgomery and about slavery and she sang old negro spirituals. NOW, my problem comes when we are still talking about Rosa Parks sitting on the bus when we have problems in the black community today. Lets not dwell on the past, we need to find a way to unite black people in todays society rather then beat the same horse of how we USED to be so close and a community. Now that we see things have changed why are we still talking about what used to be instead of what we can do to bring those times back. We need to focus on how can we enlighten black people so that we stop killing and hating each other. Im so sick of all the speakers and BHM events and tv shows speaking about the past. Everyone should know where they came from and CLEARLY black people do with all the talk of slavery, racism, and segregation. Its seriously time to move on and make a change with todays black community. Lets have a march against violence, lets have tv programs advocating for unity, lets find away to keep black people in school, lets find away to stop black girls and women from aborting their babies. Aborting babies is African Americans main cause of death ( the kids who don't make it to see the light of day), lets get black men to love each other again, lets get black women to stop hating each other and themselves, lets get our music and music videos to stop degrading black women, lets help black women find self respect. Lets help black people unite again.


Im not trying to down play out past of slavery and segregation because we need to understand it to move forward, but know I feel we are just stuck in the past.
